- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am extremely upset with my visit this morning on 07/11/17. I called three weeks ago to setup my new patient appointment with Dr. Carmen Moreno, who was referred to me by one of my good friends. When I called to verify if my insurance was taken, I was placed on hold by one of the ladies, she got back on the line and said my insurance was taken for me not to worry. I even offered to give my member id and etc. just so she could double check and she said no it wasn't necessary. Well today after I spent 30 minutes filling out my new patient information, the ladies tell me my insurance was not accepted and that if I wanted to be seen, it would cost $250. I was so upset and told them this is why I had called a head of time to verify my insurance and left. I was unable to ask, but they better not charge me the $25 cancellation fee for not being seen as this was their fault.June 16, 2017by Marisa Escarzaga
